I am a 35-year-old male. I took Amlong 5 mg and Concor 2.5 mg today morning for BP. My current BP is around 117/79. I already consumed about 60–70 ml alcohol diluted with water. I want to know if it is safe to drink more or should I stop now. I have no other major health issues

Drinking alcohol while on Blood Pressure medications like Amlodipine (Amlong) and Bisoprolol (Concor) is clinically risky. Alcohol acts as a vasodilator and a depressant, which can cause an unpredictable drop in blood pressure when combined with your tablets, leading to dizziness, fainting, or even an irregular heartbeat
Next Steps
Stop Further Consumption: Do not drink any more alcohol tonight. 60–70 ml is already a significant amount when combined with daily BP tablets.
Hydration: Drink plenty of plain water to help your body process the alcohol. Avoid caffeine (coffee/energy drinks) as they can further strain your heart and affect BP.
Monitor Vitals: Keep a close watch on how you feel over the next few hours. If you feel extreme dizziness, chest pain, or cold clammy skin, seek medical help immediately.
Long-term Habit: Alcohol is a major trigger for long-term Hypertension. For better BP control and to eventually reduce your medication dose, it is best to limit alcohol to rare, minimal occasions or avoid it entirely.
