Diarrhoea & stomach pain
Hi doc, I've been experiencing diarrhoea, stomach pain, nausea, headache, fatigue for two days. Had loperamide but no effect. Had to go to toilet for around 7-8 times yesterday and loose stool. Haven't vomitted yet, but nauseous. Could you please prescribe medicines that'll help cure this quickly?

Dear patient, Based on your symptoms (diarrhoea, stomach pain, nausea, fatigue, no relief from loperamide), this could be due to viral gastroenteritis or infective diarrhea. Recommended steps: Hydration is most important: Take ORS solution after every loose motion. Drink plenty of fluids, coconut water, or lemon water. Medicines you may discuss with a local doctor: ORS sachets – for hydration. Ofloxacin + Ornidazole tablet (twice daily for 3–5 days) – if infection suspected. Domperidone or Ondansetron – for nausea. Paracetamol – for headache and fever. Pantoprazole – to reduce acidity. Avoid: Spicy food, dairy, heavy meals. Loperamide repeatedly without doctor's advice – it may worsen infection-related diarrhea. When to see a doctor urgently: High-grade fever Bloody stools Severe dehydration (dry tongue, low urine output) Hope this helps you feel better soon.
