Yes cbt will help you feel better but it will take time. You will start feeling good after 12th or 13th session. You can consult a psychologist for proper guidance.
Yes CBT is certainly helpful in Depression. However it is observed that CBT helps to a point after which one might need other therapies.
There is no set time that u feel ‘cured’ of depression. Certainly not 2-3 weeks. U might start feeling better by around the 10th session if u a committed to change ur lifestyle based on therapy learning’s and if depression is mild or moderate. But this is just a start.
