Bilkul normal hai . But get his complete health test done at least once a year. In fact I would like to say that all family members above 35 should have their complete test done

According to older AHA guidelines it comes under stage 2 of hypertension and according to the newly released guidelines it's grade 1 of hypertension. Systolic (upper value) is definitely high. Also age doesn't matter because as advances vessel walls become less compliant and results in hypertension. But, I wouldn't want you to start any medications just based on this one reading. Here's what you should do- a 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure test or get it checked at least 3 times in a week and if the mean is still high or in this range definitely start medicines to control it. The desirable blood pressure reading is less than 120/80. This is based on the recent guidelines.
