Blood pressure 150/100
For last two days I am feeling little nausea and heavy head feeling. When I checked my bp today evening it was 150/100. I usually have a history of high blood pressure and I take Prolomet AM 25 daily at night time before sleeping. Do i need to worry as of now or observe for couple of days? Is this much dosage enough for blood pressure near 140-150/100?

The BP around 150/100 is stage 2 htn,the current dose is not enough to control the BP, you may need a different class antihypertensive to substitute

"A blood pressure reading of 150/100 mmHg while on medication (Prolomet AM 25) indicates that your hypertension is currently 'uncontrolled.' The symptoms of nausea and a 'heavy head' are classic warning signs that your blood pressure is high enough to cause physical distress. At 39, persistent readings in the 150/100 range significantly increase the strain on your heart and kidneys, suggesting that your current dosage or combination of medication may no longer be sufficient to manage your condition effectively
Next Steps
The 'Silent' Risk: "Hypertension is often called the 'silent killer.' Even if the heavy head feeling goes away, a BP of 150/100 is still damaging your internal organs. Treatment must be consistent, not just when you feel symptoms." Stress Management: "High stress levels can cause 'spikes' even in people on medication. Ensure you are getting 7 hours of sleep and try a 10-minute daily meditation to help lower your baseline sympathetic nervous system activity." Caution: "Do not double your dose of Prolomet AM 25 on your own. Sudden changes in blood pressure medication can lead to dangerous fluctuations in heart rate." Red Flags: "Seek emergency medical attention if your BP exceeds 180/110, or if you experience sudden blurred vision, severe chest pain, or a crushing headache."
