Blood pressure
"Hello Doctor, both my friend and I had our blood pressure checked today, and it was around 137/96 and 138/98. Our weight is approximately 90 kilograms, and our height is 5'11". Even three years ago, our BP was at a similar level. Could you please let us know if our weight or any other factors could be causing this increase, "नमस्ते डॉक्टर साहब, मेरा और मेरे एक दोस्त का ब्लड प्रेशर आज लगभग 137/96 और 138/98 आया है।

Blood pressure readings of 137/96 and 138/98 mmHg combined with a weight of 90 kg (BMI \approx 27.8) confirm a diagnosis of Stage 1 Hypertension. The fact that these levels have remained elevated for three years suggests that your body has established a 'high baseline,' which is likely driven by your weight. At 40, this is a critical window to intervene before this elevation causes structural changes to your heart or kidneys."
