Your BP at 120/80 is absolutely fine with the metaprolol 50 mg. I assume ,your doctor has prescribed you metaprolol after all the necessary work up ,as there must be a reason for raised bp at the age of 26 years.
Health Tips
diet modification and lifestyle modification and exercise will definitely help to control your bp

Your BP is normal because it is controlled by the medicines. You stop your medicines and the BP will rise again. Please consult a General Physician on Practo and get all the basic investigations. Then your treatment can be streamlined.
