Hello doctor. Can blood pressure be taken while sitting on a bed cross legged? Or will it give high reading? Also, do we need to empty bladder before taking a reading?

Sit in relaxed position postion with the arm at heart level. Crossing the legs, flexing the elbow, anxious will increase the reading slighlty. Repeat the reading in both arms if you have doubt.
