My baby is 11 months old. Her weight is 7.5 kg. We are mother feeding her from the beginning. From 6 months onwards, we are trying to give her other foods but she is not eating them. She is eating only fruits like Apple, Banana and biscuits. She is not even touching idly, dosa or any rice. If we force her to eat, she is crying a lot and spitting them out. Sometimes, we put her in hunger without mother feed and try to give rice but still she is not eating them. My wife is quite exhausted because of her. Can you please give me any good advise to make her eat food?

Try to include some variety in the diet and include all food groups.
Try different textures...mashed,semisolid,puree,soup,solid,
crunchy etc..
Don't give mother's milk at night.
Whoever is feeding should also sit with their own plate while feeding baby and feed similar food to the child. The child will see and eat.
Give Dal rice, khichdi, upma, poha, chapati, vegetables, kheer, soups, curds, colourful fruits.
Next Steps
most importantly, don't fuss with the child over food. let the child enjoy the process of discovering new flavours and textures.
Health Tips
avoid biscuits/chips/ junk food completely.
it is all trial and error. so don't get too tensed. Parents relax and try to make eating fun for the child.
