Baby has got cold
Hello dear doctors , my daughter of 4 th month has got cold and she weights btw 4 to 5 kg . Which syrup I have to give and of how many dose . Please help me with this .

Any medication needs examination
But to tide cold , you can liberally use saline drops as nasal spray multiple times inday especially before feeds to clear nasal secretions. Can also use nasal suction bulb to clear nose.

Just for common cold which is generally viral better to give only nasal saline drops 1-2 drops every 4-6th hourly. And for any medications it's better to consult a doctor and discuss all the necessary things before starting any medications

always wear a mask before feeding if mother is suffering from cold. also avoid any person in family who is having cold to come near to the baby as viral cold is highly communicable
