Anxiety issues
My doctor has prescribed Nexito 5mg and Cloam 0.5mg for two weeks. I have used both the tablets for 3 days. Now i want to cut Cloam 0.5mg tablet in tapering way. Means followed by 0.25mg and then later stopping. Is this will be ok? Since i want to avoid dependency.

Hi, Such initial stages of treatment require prescribing drugs like Clonazepam. It is very much rational. At this stage, the drug is only going to help you. Your concern is valid, but too early to be acted upon. Please understand, no drug is absolutely good or bad. Trust the treating Consultant and let the medication fully work. The tapering will be done gradually in the later stages of the treatment

First of all, do not be afraid of dependency & please do not rely completely on the information of the  google. You have not discussed regarding your symptoms.Your doctor has prescribed medications at very low dose, minimum time period for the affect of these medications( escitalopram) is 1-2 week, Benzodiapine as Clonazepam, minimum effective dose is 0. 25 mg, You should continue both medications at advised dose, later (in /2-3 wk)when  your symptoms of anxiety will improve, your doctor will himself taper Clonazepam. If you will reduce to it in few days, your symptoms may worsen, it will hamper your personal, academic or professional life.Dependency develops when a patient himself increase the dose & number of tablets without proper guidance. Don't worry, trust your specialist
Next Steps
Do not adjust  your own, Clonazepam will be tapered & stopped in one or few months as per symptom profile

You have been put on a very low dose Nexito and probably clonazepam was given to cover for it in initial few days. 3 days are too less for you to start tapering

Yes you can do that. But Nexito takes time to work and need adequate dose. If you stop early of clonam, it leads to worsening of symptoms.
Next Steps
please consult nearest Psychiatrist or online for expert guidance regarding the dosage of medication
