Can I take Nexito 5mg in night?
Hi my doctor prescribed me nexito 5 mg for anxiety and depression...he told me to take it in morning... Is it okay if I take it in night daily? Please help

Nexito(Sunpharama manufacturer) is a brand name of escitalopram. Escitalopram causes side effects like day time sleepiness in some patients and sleeplessness in some patients. So it's prescribed accordingly. Most psychiatrists prescribe it in morning and it suits most patients and doesn't hamper their daily life. So definitely you can take it in the night. If any difficulty consult a psychiatrist.

Nexito and other SSRI antidepressants may cause sedation or insomnia both. It is different for every individual. You should check it for yourself.if it causes sedation then take it at night, if it causes activation then take it in the morning. One more important thing is that the minimum effective dose is 10 mg for escitalopram(nexito). So 5mg may not work enough for you as your age is 32years and weight is 82kg.
