There are several causes for the same, could be due to some external factor causing allergy to skin, or could be internal like Obstructive jaundice which could be found by LFT, another chance is of Scabies mite infestation, if you got more itching at night.Detailed evaluation required to reach diagnosis and treat accordingly. Just see if you have taken any particular food or medications causing allergy too.
