White coat syndrome
My blood pressure is normal at home, but high at doctor office due to anxiety/white coat syndrome. Doctor says bp tablet cannot be given to people who have normal bp at home, then bp will get too low. But I told him since my bp is high in medical settings, why can't he prescribe?
Is he right or am I right? What would you as a doctor do under the circumstances? Please give clear answers and I can consider a consult for more guidance.
