Hi Doctor,
My daughter is 16 months old. Is it safe to give her banana in rainy season if she has mild cold ( she sneezes twice or thrice a day)? Also please let me which fruits are safe for her. In summer she used to eat banana , chikku, grapes, apple and mango.
She weighs about 13 kg.
Thanks and Regards,
Mahesh

In winter and rainy season you may use fruits as a recipe. Use Boiled fruits and make a pancake, halwa , stuffed puri and so on .

Greetings for the day!!
Usually fruits whether taken during summer or winter do not cause cold. During winters, chances of viral infections are high. As fruits cannot be cooked to kill microorganisms, they can lead to viral infection leading to cold or cough.
All fruits when cleaned properly and taken are healthy and they do not create any kind of health problems for a healthy person.
Thank you
