My son was born on 22.06.2017 (2weeks Old). His birth weight was 3kg 30 gms. His present weight is 3kg 300gms. It is normal? His Bilirubin after 72 hrs after birth was 3.2. Is it within the range?

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. Babies tend to loose weight in first 10-12 days and then gain. By now your baby should start gaining weight again. So feed every 2-3 hourly and check weight after 2 days it should be at least 50 gms more. Bilirubin is normal for this age. If weight does not increase get baby seen by pediatrician.
