Weight loss after vaccination
Hi Doctor,
My baby is 46 days old, birth weight is 3.48kg. And 3 days back 6 week vaccination was given. Till vaccination baby weight was continuously increasing. Day before the vaccination baby weight was 4.75kg, but today baby weight is 4.65kg. baby got fever for one day after vaccination and paracetamol syrup was given. Is there any problem with baby health, and post vaccination weight is common?

Weight variation is seen in different weight scale...measure it on same weight scale....100 grm doesnt matter....

100gm weight different is negligible and may be due to feeding variations, urine /stool or due to clothing, sometimes this variation my be seen due to weight machines. Not to worry consider weight same and give exclusive breastfeed.

That 100gm weight difference vl b there depending on weight machine and feed ....not to worry regarding the minor difference in the weight

100gm variation can be due to clothes machine and manual error.. keep giving exclusive breast feeding for 6 months..and monitor weight after 10 days again
