A newborn gains around 20 to 30 gm per day.
In first 10 days, feeding may not be established and child may even lose weight to gain it back again, so total days will be 44-10 that is 34 days.
Each day we consider 30gm, then 30 × 34 = 1020gm and birth weight was 3030 gm so total comes out as 4.05 kg. And your child's weight is 4.8kg so you are on the right track.
Continue your efforts. If giving formula feeds and breastfeeding both, then can consider stopping formula feeds to the child.
