Vitamin D level 17
Respected doctor I am suffering from back pain, all my reports and Xray are normal except vitamin D (level 17), I took an injection vitamin D  a week ago, which gave me some relief in pain please tell me the dosage of next vitamin D injection or capsules.

Need more details about your pain type nature bcoz vitamin d deficiency doesnot cause any pain.....Need which injection you took and also about need to evaluate your osteoporosis.

Depends on what injection you have taken, if you have taken inj arachitol ( vitamin d ) 6 lakh IU , theres no need for further dose of vitamin D .

Since you have started injection,  you can continue with Inj. Vit. D3, 50,000 units once per week for 4 weeks. Then after about 4 injections, switch over to tablets.
