I was vitamin D deficient , had less than 15 nmol/L and my doctor prescribed me Vitamin D3 60000 IU for 8 weeks . I wanted to know about management dose to maintain vitamin D and per day dosage of same

Healthy morning sir, For vitamin D deficiency,many foods and supplements are fortified with vitamin D like dairy products and cereals like cod liver oil, salmon, tuna, orange fruit juices fortified with vitamin D , dairy and plant milk fortified with vitamin D , sardines The main source of vitamin D is sunlight : Take sunbath daily before 10:00 am. Add mushrooms in diet Take vitamin D supplement once a week.
