For a Vitamin D deficiency, you will have to start by taking D3 supplement (oral or shots) as suggested by your physician. Simultaneously you have to make sure you get enough sun exposure , since that is the most reliable and convenient source of Vitamin D.
You also need to eat enough of healthy fats (Nuts and seeds, Ghee, Cold pressed oils) which help with the absorption and use of this Vitamin.
Next Steps
However, please note that adding fats to the diet should only be done under proper guidance. You can contact me for further guidance.
Health Tips
In the meantime you can start with the Sun exposure and ask your physician for a supplement.

Hi, Ideal level of vitamin D should be 30-50. Sunlight is the best source so 10 am to 11 am should be the best time for sunbath for about 20 minutes daily. Due to high levels of pollution early morning sun rays do not reach us. whole milk and products, Whole eggs, Fatty fishes are good sources.
