UTI with no pain
I went to the doctor two days ago for a sore throat. They wanted to run a urine test because I haven’t had a period for a while and they just wanted to make sure I was not pregnant. It came back that I have a UTI which shocked me because I do not have any of the symptoms of a UTI? I was wondering if that’s normal and if it’s okay for me to have sex still or if I should wait it out?

Yes many times you cn be asymptomatic and still harbour infection , this s called asymptomatic bacteruria.
However if you hv doubts you can repeat a test at some other lab
