UTI caused by E.coli
I have been diagnosed with UTI and have been undergoing treatment for the same. I would like to avail a work from home as I feel under confident to travel to my workplace which is around 65kms from my home. Can someone please get me an excpetion letter for availing work from home for 1 month. Most of the time I end up holding urine as I travel by bus. I still feel traumatic to travel thinking of all the consequences.

Holding urine for long periods during a 65km commute can definitely worsen a UTI and increase the risk of recurrence, so your concern is valid. Unfortunately, formal medical certificates or exception letters can only be issued in person by your treating doctor after a proper consultation â that's not something that can be done through an online platform. I'd suggest visiting the doctor who prescribed your current treatment and explaining your situation; they can assess and issue a WFH recommendation if clinically appropriate. Make sure to complete your antibiotic course and drink plenty of water in the meantime.

Almost all jobs have some sort of occupational hazard. Yours seems to be the distance and the time it takes to travel. Holding urine or using public lavatories or reduced water intake could all be risks for UTI.
Since you are already of treatment, I Think this problem is more logistics related than medical.

Drink more water, do not hold urine for long, keep good menstrual hygiene.
If not taken, take inj. Pentazocine 160mg one daily for 5 to 7 days.
Syp citralka 5ml every 8hours for 7 days.
