Asked for Male, 19 Years

I went with My neighbor to hospital yesterday because her husband punched her and she had brusies & feels headache also her face was pale. The doctor measured her blood pressure & found it very low. The nurse offered her some juice and food but she refused and went on crying and she only wanted painkiller or solution. The nurse asked the doctor for that after trying to calm her down and he he agreed. My question is Should that doctor really agree for what the woman asked for & is that the cure?
