Please go for a proper consultation for further evaluation. A detailed history and examination are needed to understand your symptoms correctly. Without this, it’s difficult to give the right treatment. Kindly bring any previous reports or prescriptions.

An anal abscess that fails to heal properly after drainage often indicates the formation of an Anal Fistula (a small tunnel connecting the skin to the internal anal canal). Since the 'slit' remains open or continues to ooze, it suggests that the underlying infection source hasn't completely cleared or that a chronic tract has formed. Accidental cuts in the perianal area are high-risk due to constant bacterial exposure, and 'Delayed Healing' here requires a surgical evaluation to rule out a deep-seated pocket of pus or a fistula-in-ano."
Next Steps
Sitz Bath: Start taking warm water 'Sitz Baths' (sitting in a tub of warm water with a bit of Betadine or salt) for 10–15 minutes, twice daily. This promotes blood flow and keeps the area clean. Strict Hygiene: After every bowel movement, clean the area gently with plain water and pat dry. Avoid using harsh soaps or scented wipes that can irritate the raw tissue. Monitor for Fever: If you develop a high fever, severe throbbing pain, or sudden swelling, seek emergency care immediately, as it could indicate a recurrent abscess
