Ttg positive
My 2.5 year old was having abdominal pains from 1st day.Since he was 6months we started seeing different doctors for opinions as he wasn't gaining weight n height properly,One of the doctor suggested ttg test as according to him that could be the reason of him not gaining weight,Ttg was positive n we got his endoscopy which was negative.Plz suggest

Yes coeliac disease is an important cause of pain abdomen and failure to thrive.. If TTG is positive and it's value is way above the normal, even if biopsy is negative we treat this as wheat allergy and repeat ttg after 6wks
