I am suffering from trichotillomania for many years now. This is gone mild over years. Off late I am getting trigger and urge again. I am becoming anxious and vulnerable towards my hair. Will consultation and medicine help me ? Thanks.

Hi thanks for writing. Medications will help you reduce anxiety and hence reduce the behaviour to an extend however counselling and therapy sessions will help you with coping strategies to deal with anxiety and reacted behaviour.
