Most of URTIs(uper respiratory tract infections) are viral..They are treated symptomatically..Paracetomol, Betadine Gorggle,steam inhalation, anti inflammatory drugs will help....Bacterial streptococcus infections which are less common than viral infections,need to be treated with Antibiotics
