Hi,
I am a 28 year female and married. My period was due on 24/25th this month but it's been delayed. I have a regular cycle and usually my cycle doesn't skip any month. This month however, I wanted to prepone my cycle a couple of days due to which I consumed primolut N tablet (dosage of 2 per day) for 3 days i.e. on 12,13,14th of this month and waited for 5 days for my period to start but that didn't happen.
Wanted to know if primolut n has any side effects? And is there any chance of the period getting delayed or not happening at all due to consumption of this tablet.
Please suggest. I want to know what should I be doing next.

Such short course of Primolute does not cause clinically recognisable side effects.
So how many cycles did you miss so far ? Not one even. That's normal even if uterus is not gravid. But there is always a risk of excessive bleeding when cycle is altered. Be prepared to face menorrhagia , take plenty of water and fresh vegetables to compensate for loss of iron.
Next Steps
wait for 5 more days, then consult gynaecologist if period does not occur.
