One corner of my toe nail is getting black-brown discoloration, no pain or itching. I noticed it 5 months back and it is still there. Toenail is intact. Google says it can be melanoma, is it common in Indians? I've never heard of this until now.
No family history but I'm worried after googling about it.

Melanoma is uncommon in India patients.. black discoloration could be due to traumatic injury which is common in toe nails, it could also be due to fungal infection.. get consultation with Dermatologist to rule out melanoma.
