Your symptoms suggest functional gastrointestinal spasm with associated reflux component. The “tightness” from chest to abdomen is commonly due to esophageal spasm or gut–diaphragm muscle tension, often triggered by acidity, stress or gut motility disturbance. Persistence despite antacids indicates a motility/spasm issue rather than only acid
Next Steps
-Mebeverine 135 mg twice daily before meals for 2 to 3 weeks
-Pantoprazole 40 mg once daily before breakfast for 2 weeks
-If symptoms persist beyond 2 to 3 weeks then upper GI endoscopy can be considered
Health Tips
-Avoid late meals, caffeine, spicy and oily food
-Practice slow deep breathing to relax diaphragm spasm
-Eat small frequent meals and avoid overeating

If the tightness persists, you may want to discuss a Hiatal Hernia with a doctor. this can be a sign that your body is stuck in a stressful state or dealing with a issue like a hiatal hernia or trapped gas. While antacids can help with the chemical reflux, they don't address the physical muscle tension
Next Steps
to reset these muscles Diaphragmatic Breathing moves the diaphragm and tells your gut muscles to let go
Health Tips
if this tightness is associated with severe chest pain, shortness of breath, or pain radiating specifically to your left arm or jaw, go to emergency
Avoid spicy and oily foods.
Avoid swallowing of air.(Like sipping tea).
Avoid tea, avoid smoking and tobacco, avoid soft drinks, Alchohol.
Eat small frequent meals. Eat slowly and chew all foods before swallowing
Do regular YOGA and muscle relaxing exercises at least 1 hour daily along with running and jogging.
Reduce mental stress. Anxiety, tension, fear are typical triggering factors for this type of tightness.
