Hello, thanks for reaching out about your sister’s condition. Hypothyroidism is quite common today and can often be managed effectively with Ayurvedic treatments alongside lifestyle changes. Here are some helpful home remedies and practices: • Dhaniya (Coriander) water: Soak 1 tsp coriander seeds overnight in a glass of water. Boil the water till it reduces to 1/4th and drink it on an empty stomach every morning. • Yoga and breathing exercises: Practices like Bhramari pranayama help balance the nervous system and support thyroid health. • Diet: A vegan diet rich in fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains supports detoxification and hormone balance. Avoid processed and heavy foods. Ayurvedic detox therapies (Panchakarma) like Basti, Virechana, and Vidhwakarma, combined with herbal medicines, can further improve thyroid function and overall wellbeing. It’s important to consult a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner for a personalized treatment plan, especially if thyroid levels are elevated (TSH 5.94). Wishing your sister good health and strength. — Dr. Arisha

Hi, your results shows border line TSH , still you can try baseline treatment of allopathy which is proven scientifically drug of choice and can be taken any long time As far as thyroid hormone is concerned, I feel herbal drugs need testing of TSH levels and sometimes they are non responsive in high TSH levels
