Namastey Your presentation fits well with an Ayurvedic understanding of Mridu Koshta combined with Vishama Agni, where digestion becomes inconsistent—sometimes weak, sometimes overactive. Intermittent fasting, especially if not suited to your constitution, can aggravate this imbalance by disturbing the natural rhythm of Agni. The pattern you describe—loose stools once daily, bloating after meals, skin issues, and a tendency to feel cold—indicates a mixed state of Pitta disturbance with underlying Vata involvement. This is why “cooling and binding” approaches make you feel heavy and cold, while “heating” approaches worsen bowel looseness. The key principle in such cases is not extremes, but gentle correction and stabilization of digestion (Agni deepana + Vata-Pitta balancing) rather than strong grahi (binding) or ushna (heating) interventions.
Next Steps
Avoid self-experimenting with opposite types of remedies, as this cycle tends to worsen the imbalance over time. Your condition requires a gradual and individualized approach that stabilizes digestion without aggravating either Pitta or Vata. Focus on regulating meal timings, portion size, and food compatibility rather than relying on symptomatic relief measures. Since this has been persisting for several years, a structured plan tailored to your prakriti and current imbalance is essential. For a detailed and personalized Ayurvedic treatment strategy, you are advised to connect with us at 9 3 1 5 6 6 1 5 6 5, where we can guide you step-by-step in a professional and holistic manner.
Health Tips
Follow a regular eating schedule with warm, freshly prepared, and easy-to-digest meals. Avoid long gaps or irregular fasting patterns, as they disturb Agni further. Prefer mildly spiced foods over very hot or very cooling items, and avoid excessive raw, cold, or heavy foods that can aggravate bloating. Sip warm water through the day to support digestion. Maintain a calm eating environment and avoid overeating or eating under stress. Gentle daily routine practices, proper sleep, and stress management will significantly help in stabilizing your digestive rhythm and improving overall well-being. Thank you
