Throat Pain and Dry cough.

Asked for Male, 23 Years

Hi am 23 years old suffering from Throat pain and dry cough. So i consulted an ent for the above problems but it has been 5 days since I started the course of antibiotics but my symptoms have worsened. I have told this to my ENT but he said that continue it for 4 more days But still i am suffering from extreme cough and throat pain. I was prescribed Zifi-oz twice a day Azithromycin-500 once a day and ivepred -16 OD. Please suggest some other antibiotics so that i get relief from throat pain .

You need to change the antibiotic after the throat swab. Steroid might also be required. Please consult the ENT
