2-3 weeks back I spotted a swelling on the area around the nail of the little finger of my left hand. There was no prominent pain. Few days later I noticed the nail has turned a little blackish on one side and the swelling has increased. Any external pressure on the nail causes a mild to sharp pain. The blackness is spreading on the nail and the area around it while the swelling is prominent. The nail has started to uproot from that side a little bit. I was wondering if it is Paronychia and if not then what it could be probably. Also what is the treatment to this?
(The present condition of the nail has been attached)
