Suspected high ankle/syndesmosis sprain
I fell into a drain pipe whole on the 03-08-2018. Swelling was immediately present on the high ankle region with some light bruising around the malleolus. Walking was initially quite difficult and any type of pressure on the tibia and fibula caused a shooting like pain down into the area. A week later I can walk quite normally and have full range in non weight bearing position. However this does cause some throbbing afterwards. I cant apply any pressure above the malleolus. X-rays recommend?

Hello. Certainly, an x-ray of the region is recommended.
