Why supine blood pressure is always higher than sitting and standing Does diastolic and systolic both pressure increase in anxiety due to white coat hypertension? Plz adhice

While standing, the gravity pulls the blood down toward legs. So there is less blood in the upper half of the body compared to lower half. Heart gets less blood to pump. Hence there is fall of BP.
