Hello. I have reviewed your symptoms regarding the sudden onset of diarrhea and the associated pains you are experiencing. The frequent episodes of loose motions (6–7 times in a few hours) put you at a high risk of dehydration, which often causes secondary symptoms like headaches and muscle/joint discomfort. 1. Immediate Management Hydration is Priority: The most important step is to start ORS (Oral Rehydration Salts) immediately. Drink one glass of ORS after every episode of loose motion to replace lost electrolytes. Sporlac and Econorm: Both of these are probiotics that help restore healthy gut bacteria. You can start taking them as they are generally safe, but they may take some time to slow down the frequency of stools. Dietary Changes: Stick to the BRAT diet (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast). Avoid dairy products, spicy foods, and caffeine until your stomach settles. 2. Understanding the Additional Symptoms Headache & Knee Pain: These are often signs of dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. As you rehydrate with ORS, these should start to improve. Burning in Feet: This is an unusual symptom for simple diarrhea. It could be related to severe dehydration or an underlying nutritional deficiency that is being highlighted by the current illness. 3. When to See a Doctor Immediately Please consult a physician if you notice any of the following: Blood or Mucus in your stool. High-grade fever or persistent vomiting that prevents you from drinking fluids. Signs of severe dehydration: Extreme thirst, very dark urine, or feeling dizzy when standing up. Worsening burning sensation in your feet.

ORS sabse important hai – har loose stool ke baad 1 glass sip-sip karke lena hai. Sporolac ya Econorm me se koi ek continue kar sakte ho (dono saath nahi). Medicine plan: • Tab Norflox-TZ BD for 3 days • Tab Pantoprazole 40 mg OD (empty stomach morning) • Paracetamol SOS for headache/body ache • Agar stools bahut frequent hain to Loperamide SOS le sakte ho (fever/blood ho to avoid) Diet light rakho – khichdi, dahi, banana, toast. Oily/spicy avoid karo, hydration maintain rakho. Agar 2–3 din me improvement nahi aata, ya fever, blood in stool, vomiting ya dehydration symptoms (chakkar, kam urine) ho to turant doctor ko dikhao.
