Your symptoms suggest acute gastroenteritis (stomach infection due to food/water contamination or fasting-related gastritis). The main concern is dehydration due to repeated vomiting and loose motions.
You can take:
• ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) frequently in small sips to prevent dehydration.
Avoid dairy, oily, and spicy food. Start with light, bland diet (curd rice, khichdi, dal water, coconut water, clear soups).
Next Steps
If unable to retain even fluids, or if there is severe weakness, blood in stool, persistent vomiting, reduced urine output, or dizziness, please visit the nearest hospital immediately for IV fluids.
Health Tips
• Keep yourself well hydrated. Small sips are better than drinking large amounts at once.
• Wash hands properly before meals and drink only clean, boiled, or filtered water.
• Avoid self-medicating with antibiotics unless prescribed by a doctor, as most cases are viral and resolve with hydration.
If there's no fever or pain while defecating, or blood in stools, do not start antibiotics on your own. Keep yourself hydrated as much as you can. Diarrhea should not stop you from taking oral fluids (ORS recommended). If vomiting os persistent and you are unable to take anything orally (even drinking water is causing you to vomit) then please visit near by hospital and start I/V fluids to prevent yourself from dehydration. If diarrhea persists for more than 2 days, you'll need medications by a doctor.
