Hello welcome to practo.. The tmj joint locking or dislocation can be due to bruxism.. Check if u have bruxism.. Then do consult me further.. If you have malocclusion then go for braces.. If there is a impacted teeth, then go for impaction.. The tmj problem causes pain in jaw bones, ears, eyes and neck.. I advise you to avoid wide opening of your mouth.. Pain in jaw ,neck and ears may be due to impacted wisdom tooth or temporomandibular joint dislocation. If there is impacted tooth,get it removed. Tmj dislocation can be due to trauma or malocclusion.check your teeth alignment and get it corrected if any.tmj dislocation can be ruled out by clinical examination and xray if the area.avoid hard foods,take muscle relaxants,apply hot and cold compression alternatively.
