From the photos and x rays everything looks fine. But since when and how did the pain start is what actually matters. Also does the pain aggrevates or goes away also needs to be addressed. Has it started since wisdom tooth eruptions or before that or recently is necessary to come to a diagnosis.
Next Steps
Try hot compressions on left side of jaw and TMJ region before sleep. If it doesnt go away get a consult for evaluation and proper history for pain and bruxism.
Teeth only comes in contact while chewing so if you have an habbit of bruxism teeth grinding in common language it will creat pressure on tmj plz get yourself one night guard to rule out that. Also if you getting cheevk bite problem get enameloplasty done to minimise sharp cusp problem
From the history, picture and X ray provided ,it looks like buccally erupted upper wisdom tooth is causing strain on the left TMJ.
Nonetheless it is important to get a clinical examination done by a dentist to be sure .
If its the cause ,it will require removal of the upper wisdom tooth.
I you are grinding your teeth at night ,a night guard may be advised.
