Stomach pain and vomiting

Asked for Female, 25 Years

I have been having upset stomach and vomiting with acute stomach pain. I have consulted general physician and based on medicines given by him , loose motions have reduced he also gave me medicines for gastic. However whenever I am consuming food I m getting acute pain in stomach also vomiting. Please help

Your symptoms could be be due to gastritis and gastric ulcer. There can be vomiting and stomach pain in the immediate period following diorrhoea. So a detailed history is necessary.

Next Steps

The pain and vomiting should reside in a fresh days following diorrhoea with medications. If it is not recovering then you need to increase the medication for gastritis and also might need to under OGDscopy to look for ulcers and gastritis.

Follow a bland diet without spices and chillies which will help in better healing and easy digestion. And also having food in small amounts in frequent intervals can reduce vomiting sensation.
