Try doing gym on alternate days to give your body some time to rest, cause your body is not accustomed to endure hard work, hire a good trainer 1st , who will decide for you, which exercise is better for your body type. Decrease the amount of red meat and increase the intake of fish. And if you smoke, limit/stop smoking.
You should get your Complete Health Package done from a reputed Laboratory and consult a General Physician in your area for a physical examination.
First confirm that physically you are fit to join the Gym.
