I have cervical spondylosis flare up. It happens almost every winter since past couple of years. Last year I got relief after taking spondy aid drops , so I discontinued. Now it has started paining again, but I am breastfeeding right now to a 4 month old. Is it safe to use spondy aid drops?

Hello, Cervical spondylosis can commonly flare up in winter, and pregnancy, delivery, and breastfeeding can further strain the neck and upper back due to posture, feeding positions, and lack of rest. Regarding Spondy Aid drops, it is important to understand that: • During breastfeeding, no medicine (including combination drops) should be continued without proper medical supervision • Even though such remedies are often considered mild, individual safety assessment is essential when the mother is lactating Relief experienced in the past does not automatically mean the same medicine is suitable now, especially with changed physiological conditions like breastfeeding. Management at this stage should focus on: • Safety for both mother and baby • Correcting posture-related strain • Deciding whether supportive treatment alone is sufficient or medical treatment is required A personalised evaluation helps decide the safest and most appropriate approach during lactation. You may consult me online for a detailed assessment, and I can guide you regarding safe management options while breastfeeding.
Next Steps
• Avoid restarting any medicine without professional advice • Observe if pain is associated with stiffness, radiating pain, or tingling • Address posture during feeding and daily activities • Seek guidance before pain becomes persistent or severe
Health Tips
• Maintain proper neck support while breastfeeding • Avoid bending the neck for prolonged periods • Use a firm pillow to support the cervical spine • Apply gentle warmth to the neck if comfortable • Take short breaks and do light neck stretches (as tolerated) • Ensure adequate rest and hydration

It's better to get treated by an expert Homeopathic physician asap. Just taking some drops may not be helpful for a long time. It needs to be treated in a holistic approach for complete recovery. Homeopathic medicines are the best solution for your condition at this point of time, but you need the right expert and right medicine.

Hello, I understand your concern regarding cervical spondylosis flare-up, especially while you are breastfeeding your 4-month-old baby. Cervical spondylosis often worsens during colder months, and flare-ups can cause pain, stiffness, and discomfort in the neck and shoulders. Regarding Spondy Aid drops, while they have helped you in the past, it’s important to be cautious during breastfeeding. Some ingredients in homeopathic remedies are considered generally safe, but since each formulation may contain multiple constituents, it is essential to confirm the safety for lactating mothers before starting again. I would recommend the following approach: Consultation before restarting – Please consult a qualified homeopathic doctor (like myself) who can review your current symptoms, breastfeeding status, and medical history. Alternative supportive measures – Gentle neck exercises, warm compresses, correct posture while feeding, and ergonomic adjustments can reduce pain without affecting your baby. Homeopathic management while breastfeeding – I can guide you with a safe and effective homeopathic remedy specifically suited to your flare-up and compatible with lactation. You can reach out to me directly for consultation and tailored treatment. I have experience in treating cervical spondylosis in lactating mothers and can help you get relief safely without affecting your baby. Hi, Spondy aid drops are a patent medicine within combination of about 7 medicines in its crude form. Once you get relief, stop the medicine and go for more deep acting medicines so as to prevent the recurrency during every winter. During breastfeeding and pregnancy time, continuous consumption of these medicines will influence the health of our baby.
