Specialist opinion on my Diabetes treatm
I have been diagnosed with Diabetes since September middle. I was given Glycomet 500 for the first month, and then Glycomet plus PPG 0.2 for the second month. Currently, it just got changed to Glycomet and Amaryl M1. My diabetes figures were FBS was 141, followed by 121, then 118, followed again by 157, which was a bit alarming. The PPBS has been 257, 237, 233, 233. I am not taking any sweets or sugar. Dietary control is being exercised. I was advised to seek specialist opinion on treatment and medication.

You need to increase medication. Please check HbA1c report as well. Post prandial sugar peaks are well controlled by DPP4 inhibitors and alfa glucosidase inhibitors. May need to add it. Please consult a Diabetologist with reports
