Small small painful boils on my head
I am getting small small painful boils on my head. It comes and in few days it goes, and comes again. I have this issue from last one year but now this boils are more painful and iching. I went to general physician he told me have *Doxycycline 100 mg* Can I have second view on this.

Looks like folliculitis.there are various reasons for it.application of oil everyday can also lead to this and dandruff as well .u would need shampoo and ointment fir relief kindky consult me online for further treatment

Hello, Repeated boils in the scalp can be commonly due to infections or dandruff. From the pictures it appears that you do not have much dandruff. Doxycycline being an antibiotic prescribed to you by your doctor may help control the infection, if any.
