Hi,
I have been snoring a lot and waking up feeling absolutely unrested. I am very fearful of getting endoscopy done to check whenever I have sleep apnea and don't want to use a CPAP machine. Are there any lifestyle changes or any other instrument other than the CPAP machine that I can use? I am 5'5 female, age 44 and weigh 57 kgs.

Try sleeping on your side, reduce weight if needed and avoid late meals. You can also try a dental mouthpiece instead of CPAP. May need endoscopy if these don’t help.
Snoring is hoarse or harsh sound from nose or mouth that occurs when breathing is partially obstructed while sleeping.
Next Steps
Losing weight, avoiding alcohol close to bedtime, quitting smoking and sleeping on your side may help prevent snoring.
Any underlying cause need to be treated
