Sleep Apnea and Tonsillitis problem
How to treat sleep apnea (best option) and Tonsillitis problems? I am 39.5 years old male.
Will Sleep Apnea create other problems if not treated early? Please provide more details.
I think I got Sleep Apnea genetically as my father (60 yrs old) also has. Should we treat his first as he recently undergone heart surgery (inserted a stunt).
Please advise. Thanks

Need of detailed evaluation because so many causes for sleep apnea.
If you r overweight , need to reduce weight also.

There are so many reasons for sleep apnea,
It can be genetic, obstruction, overweight etc.
Yes Sleep Apnoea can lead to overweight, HTN, heart disease, high cholesterol,day time sleepiness.
Next Steps
Firstly you need to be evaluated for your BMI and obstructive cause.
Thereafter need to do home based polysomnography. And then things can be decided

most common cause is obesity.
yes it can cause other problem.
