Actually a photograph is needed in such case to look for the loss

Health Tips
good news is that - most cases partial loss heal gradually ( give time ) and seek opinion from your surgeon in this case
Partial loss of a Skin Graft at the donor site can still heal gradually by secondary epithelialization. Keep the area clean, protected from trauma, and monitor for redness, discharge, or increasing pain. Regular follow-up with the surgeon is important.
Adequate nutrition and wound care usually allow progressive healing over the coming weeks.
It depends on how much is the loss, if the loss in minimal and no infection ,it will heal on its own ( secondary healing) , if there is more loss or associated infection, it might need debridement and closure either by suture or again re grafting by skin or skin substitute might be needed.
Next Steps
You should visit the treating doctor or any plastic surgeon for proper wound evaluation.
Health Tips
Prevent it from getting infected, and proper sterile dressing needs to be done, along with antibiotics coverage if needed
