Approximately around 6 weeks it takes for complete absorption for rapid vicryl suture material. It takes around 2 weeks for sutures to fall off. But nothing to worry about it irrespective of the time for suture material absorption as long as the wound is healing healthy.
Next Steps
Maintain wound care and hygeine

Rapid Vicryl is an absorbable suture commonly used after circumcision. Usually, the stitches start loosening/falling on their own within around 7–14 days as the wound heals. Complete absorption may take approximately 4–6 weeks.
Next Steps
Do not pull the sutures manually. Keep the area clean and dry, and follow your surgeon’s post-operative advice.
Health Tips
If you notice increasing swelling, redness, pus discharge, fever, severe pain, or bleeding, consult your surgeon for review.
